A colorful, cute bracelet is a great touch for summer. This simple bracelet can be made with minimal supplies and only takes about 15 minutes! You can make it for a friend, or as an accessory for yourself. Either way, it is sure to turn out great!
1) Take two or three different colored pieces of bracelet thread (can be found at any craft store) and cut each piece so it is 3 feet long
2) Put the pieces of thread together and fold all of them in half so that you have 4 pieces of string. Put your index finger in the loop at the top where it is folded. Make an X with the thread on your finger

3) Take the top two pieces of thread and put them underneath the bottom two and pull the whole loop (not just the piece of string)
4) Put the top loop on the clipboard so it holds it firmly while you are making the bracelet. If you do not have a clipboard you can tape the loop down on a hard surface.
5) Once it is secured, take one piece of thread that is the color you want to start off your bracelet. I chose blue. Separate this single piece of thread from the other three.

6) Take the end of this piece of thread and cross it to the left over all three of the other pieces, creating a backwards 4.
7) Take the end of the piece on the left side and pull it under the other three (bringing it back to the right) and up through the middle section of the backwards 4. Pull to the top of the bracelet and pull tightly. It should create a small knot.
8) Repeat this with the blue for as long as you want (I usually do it 10-15 times before I switch to the other color)
9) Repeat with the other color(s).
10) Do this until you run out of thread or until it is long enough to fit your wrist. When you are finished, tie it on your wrist and wait for the compliments!
